2019: Ihedioha Has The Best Individual Project Achievements Profile In Imo State.

By Ogu Bundu Nwadike, M.A

In the standard order of structuring a curriculum vitae (CV) or resumé, after the personal bio-data of the bearer of the CV, what follows is the schools attended and educational qualifications obtained. The next usual item that follows is the work experience and other related career service experience. Other things that follow the statement of work and career experience may be at the CV bearer’s discretion.

In this discourse, we will showcase in a very severe summary, the catalogue of the projects achievements profile of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, CON, KSC in his work and public service career so far from 2003 till date.

Nobody has been able to argue that Ihedioha did not excel in the aspect of provision of people-oriented projects during his hey days as a national legislator. That may be because the projects are concrete tangibles that can be easily verified.

The projects that Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha attracted to his Aboh Mbaise/Ngor Okpala Federal Constituency, the 27 local government areas and the 305 wards in Imo State are so numerous that an ongoing compilation of them has crossed the 100 page mark. Obviously, such cache of projects cannot be listed in a short discourse as this.

Without any fear of contradiction, we categorically state here that there is no candidate running for the 2019 gubernatorial election that has a projects achievements profile that compares favourably with that of Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha.

In the various critical socio-economic sectors of the Imo State viz road construction, electricity, water, health, education, security, skills acquisition trainings and empowerment, employment and so on, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha left his bold developmental vision and mission imprimatur in the State.

We have been serializing the projects achievements profile of Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha on this platform. Some participants reading this may bear us witness about this. We may not want to bother the gentlemen and ladies in audience here with the very long lists of projects by Ihedioha. But let it suffice that the projects did exist , while many are still existing.

As we have often argued, we feel it is a significant that the projects achievements profile be regarded as quintessential in the consideration and assessment of the overall qualifications of a candidate that will be the governor of Imo State in 2019.

This is because we reason that it takes practice to nurture and groom experience. And a task as crucial as administering a State like Imo is not one where the governor will be learning on the job to provide basic social amenities.

Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha has gained experience in project provision across the State. When he is inaugurated on May 29, 2019 as Imo governor, he may possibly begin on May 30 to unveil and execute his projects plans. This can only be possible because Ihedioha has the experience in project distribution in the entire Imo State.

We in Team Ihedioha strongly believe that in whichever way it is looked at, the projects achievements profile of Ihedioha’s will remain an added advantage for him over other candidates that do not have any verifiable project achievements profile to boast about in Imo State.

We would not push this further because as was stated at the outset Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha’s projects achievements profile is like a wrist band which does not require a mirror to observe.

Let us reiterate that every local government in Imo State benefitted from Ihedioha’s projects. All that anybody in doubt should do is to tell us his or her local government and we will point the person to the precise location where Ihedioha projects are located in the local government.

We will leave the discourse at this juncture until soon again when from another perspective we take a look at the primus sans pares qualification of Ihedioha to elected the next governor of Imo State. Thank you for reading this.
