The National Association of Aircraft Pilots and Engineers (NAAPE), has expressed support for the deregulation of the oil and gas sector. They described it as the step in the right direction, which was long over due. This was according to the news reported by Channels TV. They described it as a bold decision, referring to the subsidy as fradulent. The group said, it would not ask pilots to go on strike. A decision that is in contrast with the stand of the Nigerian Labour Congress. Recall that the Labour Congress has given the federal government till Tuesday next week to revert to the original price of face nationwide strike.
