Imo YPP To Coalesce With AA To Ensure Ugwumba Uche Nwosu’s Victory.

The leadership of the Young Progressive Party (YPP) has joined about 47 other political Parties in the State who had declared their total support for the governorship aspiration of His Excellency Ugwumba Uche Nwosu, who is the candidate of the Action Alliance in Imo State.

Welcoming them, the Chairman of the Ugwumba Uche Nwosu Campaign Council, Okenze Sylvester Obinna commended them for their foresight in identifying with the winning team. He assured them that Ugwumba Uche Nwosu is a man who appreciates every little effort made by anyone to help in his dream and assured them that their contributions will not be taken for granted.

“I welcome you all to the home of all Imo people and I thank you for identifying with our victory. Ugwumba is a few weeks away from becoming the governor-elect and it is delighting to our hearts that you have joined us at this time to make our victory even more resounding.”

The leader of the YPP Action Group and former member representing Onuimo State Constituency in the Imo State House of Assembly, Hon. Damian O. Ogu explained that the entire YPP structure in Imo State have taken a decision to work for the emergence of Ugwumba Uche Nwosu as the next governor of Imo State because he is the most prepared, most popular and most honest of all the governorship candidates in the State.

Chief Ogu who doubles as the Okigwe zonal Chairman of the YPP and its Senatorial candidate for Imo North District led 15 LGA Chairmen of the Party, members of the State Working Committee, Chairmen of all LGA Chairmen, the House of Representatives candidate of the Party for Oguta, Ohaji-Egbema, Oru-West Federal Constituency, several House of Assembly candidates, Chairman of all ward Chairmen and several stakeholders of the Party across different parts of the State.

According to him; “As you may know, our Party, the YPP has a governorship candidate, but we do not think he has any credible chance nor has he shown enough preparedness to convincingly run this election. We have decided to support His Excellency Ugwumba Uche Nwosu, because he is the best among all the candidates running for the office of governor this time around and he has shown enough preparedness to win. We have structures across the State and we will align with the Action Alliance and other political Parties that have adopted him as their candidate to ensure an overwhelming victory for him at the polls.”

The Ugwumba Uche Nwosu Campaign Organization is open to more partnerships with every progressive Imolite and group whose interest is to see a better Imo, where prosperity to all people shall be the culture of governance.
