The appointment of Senator Adolphus Wabara as PDP’s BOT chairman should not be considered any kind of conciliation to the Southeast.

The PDP would be insulting the Southeast if they consider this Greek gift enough to make us forget the injustice done to us, after over 20 years of unrelenting support and loyalty to that Party. Even the national chairmanship of the Party is nonsense, in the current situation.

These positions would have made some sense if the PDP was in power. But, a Party in opposition cannot deprive us of our “right” to produce its presidential candidate and insult us by believing we would be assuaged with any Party office.

If nothing else will make me happy about the 2023 election, I will be very happy to see the PDP trounced in the Southeast. All the votes we have been giving that Party since 1999 are not appreciated. This time around, we will vote massively against them.
